A Spa Retreat with Edge
We transformed a dated 1980s ensuite into a bold, spa-inspired retreat defined by strong lines, rich materials, and thoughtful detailing. Every decision was made to enhance comfort, function, and visual impact within the existing footprint.
Precision in Every Detail
We fully reimagined this ensuite to balance dramatic aesthetics with everyday usability. A freestanding soaker tub replaced the original corner unit, improving circulation and creating a more intentional layout, while a larger shower enclosure and custom storage solutions keep the space organized and uncluttered. High-gloss Onyx Aqua tile was dry-laid prior to installation to carefully align veining and extend floor to ceiling for added visual weight.
Walnut cabinetry, chrome fixtures, and soft white terrazzo-style flooring introduce warmth and contrast, while floating elements and vertical tile runs emphasize height and openness. Behind the scenes, walls were rebuilt and fully waterproofed to accommodate wall-mounted fixtures and modern plumbing, resulting in a refined, durable space designed with precision from every angle.
