A Custom Luxury Home Designed for Living & Entertaining
We approached the design of this home with a focus on both scale and intimacy. The main floor establishes a dramatic sense of arrival, with a processional hallway leading to a grand hall anchored by a custom slat wood wall, glass fireplace, and soaring two-storey windows. From there, retractable glass walls connect the show kitchen and bar to the future pool terrace, while a hidden working kitchen, climate-controlled wine room, and custom bar enhance functionality. Upstairs, the layout is divided into a private primary suite, a children’s wing, and an integrated office overlooking the backyard. The basement expands into a private sports and recreation complex with a basketball court, spa-style locker room, golf simulator, and theatre.
Behind the luxury, performance was central. A hybrid structural system enabled expansive spans and complex spaces, while integrated automation, radiant heating, and dedicated HVAC ensure comfort and efficiency. For the exterior, the natural palette and refined masonry allow the home to blend seamlessly with its neighbourhood, while custom architectural details add depth and interest. Inside, warm modernism guides the design, with layered materials, integrated lighting, and smart storage elevating everyday living. The result is a custom luxury home that combines bold architectural moves with intimate, livable design.
