Alex focuses on digital marketing, capturing the stories behind Amsted’s projects and people. Alex is the one sneaking in with a phone whenever something exciting is happening—demo days, big reveals, and all the little moments that show how the team works together. Her favourite part of the job is seeing all that collaboration come together to create beautiful, functional living spaces, then sharing those stories with the wider community. Alex’s advice for homeowners: focus on the functionality that fits you and your space best; how a home works for your life matters.

At home, Alex’s favourite place is the kitchen—a chance to unplug from screens, cook without a recipe, and follow whatever smells (and tastes) good, then share those “random” meals with loved ones. A crochet hook is never far away; it’s a go-to way to disconnect from the digital world after a day online. Outside of work, Alex loves taking her dog on long walks and watching him run around, making new friends.

What Alex loves most about Amsted is the people: everyone is eager to help each other, put their heads together, and really hit a home run for each project—and getting to be the one who shares that with the community is the best part.
