Deirdre is in the middle of it all—supporting the design team, keeping projects on track, and working with homeowners to choose the finishes and details that bring their spaces to life. With 9 years of experience in design, her favourite part of the job is collaborating with the team to create remarkable spaces that feel just right for each client. Her advice for homeowners is simple: make the space your own and don’t worry too much about resale value—your home should reflect you.

At her own home, Deirdre’s favourite place is the living room, where an old wood-burning fireplace sets the scene for cozy afternoons spent reading or playing games with her son. She enjoys tackling DIY projects, including wainscoting and wallpaper installation, and her coffee maker is a daily essential. Deirdre appreciates the range of experience across the Amsted team; when an issue comes up, you’ll often find everyone in a room together, mapping out the best way forward.
