Maggie works closely with homeowners to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Since joining Amsted, she’s loved those moments when clients start to see the potential in their home and get excited about what it could become. Her advice for homeowners is to spend a bit of time thinking about the “pain points” in your current setup—how you move, where things pile up, what doesn’t quite work—because those details are the key to a design that truly supports everyday life.

In her own home, Maggie’s favourite place is the living room, especially her sectional—it’s the spot where everyone sprawls out at the end of the day, pup included. She loves thrifting furniture and hunting for pieces with character and a good story behind them. She first earned a degree in commerce before returning to school for design, bringing both creativity and a practical mindset to her work. What she loves most about Amsted is the people; construction can be challenging, but this team makes her genuinely look forward to coming into work.
