Mary oversees Amsted’s financial operations, ensuring timely, accurate reporting so the team can make confident decisions. She’s worked in finance for more than 30 years and joined Amsted—and the construction world—over 9 years ago. Her favourite moments are when careful analysis from across the business helps bring clarity to a decision.

Her advice for homeowners is to remember that you’re part of a team of trusted advisors who know the ins and outs from years of experience. It’s important to feel comfortable with your team, so open, two-way communication can guide the process.

At home, Mary loves being barefoot in the backyard, getting her hands dirty in the garden, and enjoying the simple, grounding feel of the grass. Inside, you’ll often find her downstairs where her yoga mat lives. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, kayaking, and baking. A fun fact: she once ran a 10K that finished with a lap in Montreal’s Olympic Stadium—and for a moment, it felt like running for gold. What she values most at Amsted is the genuine care the team shares for one another.
