Paulette is the homeowner’s partner in planning, adept at asking the right questions that will capture the details needed to make a new space truly feel like theirs. With almost 20 years in the industry and 10 with Amsted, she confidently guides people through design so the vision, budget, and timeline all work together. Standing in a finished space and reminiscing about the road trips, coffees, and conversations that got it there is her favourite part of the job.

Her advice for homeowners is to share as much as possible: the little details, examples of what you like (and don’t), and even long-term ideas you’re not ready to tackle yet. The more that comes to the surface early, the smoother the process tends to be.

At home, Paulette loves the openness of her kitchen and living room, a cozy, plant-filled space where everyone naturally gathers. Outside of work, she enjoys watching her kids play sports, gardening, and collecting houseplants. A fun fact: her children are spaced about ten years apart—unconventional, and exactly right for her family. She appreciates being part of a talented, slightly quirky team that designs spaces to serve clients well now and into the future.
