Aaron makes sure projects start on the right foot, from estimating cost and timeline to finding better ways to reach the same goals before construction even begins. With over 20 years of experience, he’s at his best when he’s catching problems early and fixing them before they have a chance to slow the project down. His advice for homeowners: ask all the questions. It’s crucial to trust your team, but it’s also okay to double-check so everyone’s working from the same understanding.

At home, Aaron’s favourite place is his office—that’s where all the planning happens. He can’t pick just one favourite tool; he relies on all of them, from his computer to hand tools, power tools, and machine tools. Outside of work, he loves running, cycling, training, building, fixing, learning, researching, and testing—anything that challenges both body and mind. Fun fact: he almost became an outdoor education teacher. Now, he channels that love of learning into his work. What he enjoys most about Amsted is working with talented, like-minded people who bring that same mindset to every project.
