Reid works on-site as a carpenter, focusing on trim, custom details, and hands-on problem-solving. New to construction in 2023, he’s drawn to working through unexpected challenges and finding the best possible outcome for each home and family. His advice for homeowners: don’t be afraid to ask questions. It’s your home, and his goal is to provide as much feedback and information as he can along the way.

At his own home, Reid’s favourite place is his bedroom, where he built his own desk, bedside tables, and bedframe. He also has a soft spot for his living room couch—it’s just that comfy. Outside of work, he loves being by the water, especially canoeing and camping, and he has a love for Christmas with all the lights and colour. For Reid, one of the best parts of working at Amsted is knowing that anyone can call on anyone else for help, ideas, or on-site support and get the backup they need.
