Amsted is proud to have been recognized for two awards at the 2014 Housing Design Awards.
Organized by the Greater Ottawa Home Builders Association, the 31st annual gala was held on Saturday, October 4th at the Ottawa Convention Centre.
Joining forces with Chuck Mills Residential Design & Development, Amsted was first called to the stage in the category of Renovation $500,000-$749,999 for the transformation of a cottage-style home into this Arts & Crafts-inspired beauty. (Also named a 2014 finalist in the categories of Custom Kitchen 191-219 sq.ft., Custom Bathroom over 91 sq.ft. and Green Renovation Entire Home.)
And with Special Achievement awards held to the final announcements, we patiently awaited the end of the evening, where Amsted was thrilled to be recognized as this year’s Renovator of the Year, the fifth time having been awarded this designation.
“We are fortunate to work with such creative, bright people, and every day we try to find a new way to exceed our client’s expectations,” says Steve Barkhouse, President, following the announcement. “It’s our clients that matter the most, but to hear it from the industry … is an affirmation we are doing the right thing.” 1
The Housing Design Awards celebrate excellence in the industry, and we are proud to be named among this group. We would like to recognize our great network of partners, who are integral to every project, and extend a special thanks to our clients, who entrust us with transforming their homes and lives.
