We selected the Amsted as we felt they understood best our vision and were extremely well prepared and engaged in the process from day 1. We were quite nervous with proceeding with the project as it was in 2021 in the midst of some major supply chain issues. To our pleasant surprise, the project started and ended on time and on budget with only minor changes (that were clearly articulated) along the way. The Challenge
The homeowners wanted to combine their kitchen and living spaces. The kitchen felted dated and closed off from the rest of the home.
The Solution
We removed 2 load-bearing walls and secured the structure to allow the kitchen to be bright and open. From the kitchen, the homeowners have a full view of their dining and living room area, including their new feature gas fireplace with shiplap detail. The new main floor ties in with the rest of the home with the beautiful wood flooring.
