The Challenge
The homeowners wanted a dramatic statement front foyer for their two-storey home. They also hoped to improve sightlines and modernize the space.
The Solution
A drab, carpeted staircase was transformed into a jaw-dropping statement piece expanding from the basement to the second floor. The custom curved glass railings open the space to the lower levels and allow natural light to flow into the home unobstructed. By using exotic wood throughout and sticking to a neutral colour palette, we ensured cohesion and seamlessness. The new staircase looks like a natural addition to the home.
