Amsted is excited to announce the Grand Opening of our second Living Room Client Centre on Thursday, September 25th. With doors opening at 3:00pm, renovation enthusiasts, neighbours and businesses are encouraged to stop by and enjoy a tour of newly renovated 17 Springfield Road.
Amsted purchased the building from recently retired neighbourhood staple Leo La Vecchia of Leo La Vecchia Custom Tailor. Steve Barkhouse, President, says the space will remain a ‘Tailor Shop’, just of a different kind. “Amsted is known for our personalized service. We strive to tailor our design and construction solutions to each client’s unique needs, just as Mr. La Vecchia tailored his clients’ suits for all those years.” The Grand Opening will feature ‘before’ photos of each room to highlight the history and transformation of this storied building.
Our second Living Room (the first located in Westboro at 770 Highland Avenue), Steve describes the space as “a place where ideas can be explored and brought to life.” Proud to be joining a community we have helped build over the past 25 years, Steve explains the move into New Edinburgh as “the most effective way to help our clients create a home where they can relax, entertain friends and express their personality and lifestyles. We place our Living Rooms right next to our clients’ because what better way to help them achieve the home of their dreams than by being a part of the fabric of their community and having an in-depth understanding of their needs as only a good neighbour can.”
The Grand Opening will take place on Thursday, September 25th from 3:00pm – 6:00pm, with special presentations by Councillor Peter Clark and Amsted’s owners Steve Barkhouse, Kirk Haw and Fred Barkhouse at 4:00pm. We hope you can make it!
