Ottawa’s awards season is blessing us once again! Amsted came away with an exciting three wins at last week’s SAM Awards for sales and marketing excellence organized by the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association!
With the three trophies we were awarded at the Housing Design Awards in October and the two we won at the Ontario Home Builders’ Association Awards of Distinction in September — including being named Renovator of the Year at both! — it’s been an exciting fall here at Amsted!
And the continued recognition for the outstanding efforts of our amazing staff is deeply appreciated.
The SAM Awards focus on sales and marketing efforts and look at the sales efforts, marketing campaigns and innovative initiatives generated by Ottawa’s housing industry.
This year, all three of our awards can be attributed to their uniqueness in the marketplace.
Our industry-leading ATV video series, which is a valuable resource for homeowners looking to renovate, captured the trophy for Best Renovator Marketing Campaign.
ATV (short for Amsted TV) is a series of 14 short videos created over two years to provide homeowners with easy-to-view tips to help them when researching and planning for their renovation. The videos:
- explain what design-build is
- introduce our different team members
- share the benefits of an in-house design team and the importance of a dedicated warranty/service department
- outline important meetings clients should expect
- introduce our six-stage Proven Process.
ATV is a unique concept in Ottawa. Others have commercial company videos (as do we), but this isn’t just geared at hiring us — it’s helpful content for the entire renovation process.
We also won two awards related to our newly-opened Glebe Living Room — one for the Best Renovator Showroom and one for the Best Marketing Innovation.
Across North America, a renovator making use of model homes is unheard of. Our “Living Rooms”, which are conveniently located throughout the city, give clients an easy way to connect with us while allowing them to also see the quality of our work.
We are so proud of our team’s success and these three wins at the SAMs. And congratulations to all the other winners!
